EHDOC (Elderly Housing Development and Operations Corporation) is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to providing safe, affordable housing for older adults, along with access to supportive health and social services that promote independent and dignified living.
Since its founding in 1978 by the National Council of Senior Citizens—an advocate for Medicare, Social Security, and the Older Americans Act—EHDOC has grown to sponsor and manage 56 affordable senior housing communities, including three currently under development. These communities encompass over 4,700 apartments across 14 states, Washington, D.C., and Puerto Rico.
EHDOC is a national leader and advocate at all levels of government in promoting independent living and life enrichment for seniors.
