Faith-based CCRC in Northern Lancaster County is seeking a PA licensed NHA for a newly created position as the Assistant Executive Director. This individual is responsible for overseeing the community's 120-bed Skilled Nursing Facility and reports to and supports the campus Executive Director in providing coverage in that person's absence.
Responsibilities include overseeing, facilitating, and directing the operations of the SNF in accordance with federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations that govern long-term care facilities. This professional will promote effective working relationships among all disciplines so that individualized quality, compassionate resident care is delivered in a comprehensive, coordinated fashion within the financial framework and overall objectives as established by the United Church of Christ Homes.
The successful candidate will have:
Valid PA NHA
At least three years of proven NHA leadership experience within a long-term care setting
Knowledge of budgeting processes and financial management principles
Excellent supervisory skills with a focus on team building and staff development
Operational management skills with an emphasis on quality assurance and compliance
Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with diverse stakeholders
Ability to demonstrate compassion, empathy, and respect for residents' dignity at all times
