Job Overview
The Personal Care Administrator oversees the daily operations of the personal care residence, ensuring quality care and services are delivered to all residents in accordance with state regulations and organizational standards. This leadership role is responsible for managing staff, coordinating resident care plans, maintaining compliance with licensing requirements, and fostering a safe, welcoming environment that promotes residents’ dignity, independence, and well-being.

Responsibilities

• Exposure to and desire to work with the elderly and chronically ill
• Ability to supervise effectively, work proficiently, and perform as part of a team
• Engage residents in social activities to promote mental well-being and enhance quality of life.
• Ability to understand and carry-out facility policies and procedures
• Knowledge or and experience in conflict resolution
• Ability to remain composed in an emergency and ability to give direction and guidance under stressful situations

Experience

• Possession of Personal Care Home Administrator's License Required
• 2 years of management experience preferred
• Ability to obtain Medication Administration training Certificate
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively while ensuring high-quality care standards are met.
